Backend Engineer - AI Tooling and Infrastructure

Hi! We're launching a dedicated AI division creating both internal tooling and customer-facing AI products. With startup energy backed by our established 20+ year tech company, we're building everything from developer infrastructure to productivity solutions.

Our team collaborates with leading AI researchers, operating from our New York and Krakow hubs with a horizontal structure that gives you direct impact.

• What You'll Do
  • Build comprehensive AI tools for both internal teams and external customers
  • Develop robust backend systems that power and extend LLM capabilities
  • Create APIs, frameworks, and infrastructure that make AI more accessible and effective

  • Design solutions that solve real-world challenges for AI practitioners

     

• What We Need
  • Enthusiasm for AI tool creation and infrastructure
  • Backend development experience in any language
  • Hands-on experience with LLMs (Claudes, OpenAI models, etc.)
  • Problem-solving mindset and eagerness to learn

  • 2+ years professional software development

     

• Nice to Have (We'll Teach)
  • Experience building developer tools or frameworks
  • Knowledge of multiagent systems architecture
  • Background in Java or other languages
  • Exposure to high-performance systems
