Business Development Manager (Creative Studio)

We’re looking for a Business Development Manager with a strong track record in client management and sales within the creative, design, or CRO industries.
Your background should include:
- Previous experience in a similar Business Development / Sales role within a creative studio, digital, or performance marketing environment.
- Existing client base and a clear understanding of where and how to find new clients (apps, ecom, performance brands).
- Experience with lead generation tools: CRM, email outreach, LinkedIn, industry events.
- Understanding of the full sales cycle from first outreach to contract signing.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build long-term client relationships.
- Ability to collect client requirements and translate them into simple, clear briefs for the creative team.
- Basic understanding of UGC, performance videos, banners, landing pages, and how creatives influence performance results.
- Comfortable presenting, negotiating, working with objections.

Key Responsibilities:
* Actively prospect and acquire new clients via cold outreach (email, LinkedIn, partnerships), inbound lead follow-up, and personal network.
* Identify and approach brands, startups, agencies, and performance teams with demand for static, video, UGC-style creatives, landing pages, and CRO services.
* Run discovery and intro calls: qualify leads, uncover business goals, marketing funnels, budgets, timelines, and decision-makers.
* Clearly present the studio’s services, value proposition, case studies, and creative approach tailored to client objectives.
* Own the full sales cycle from first contact to deal closure, including proposal preparation, pricing discussions, negotiation, and contract coordination.
* Coordinate smooth client onboarding and handoff to creative, CRO, and production teams.
* Maintain and update CRM: manage pipeline stages, forecast revenue, track deal velocity, and analyze lead source performance.
* Build and maintain long-term client relationships; act as the primary commercial point of contact.
* Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities (e.g., scaling creative production, adding video/UGC, landing pages, CRO audits, ongoing optimization).
* Collaborate closely with creative strategists and performance marketers to align client needs with deliverables.
* Gather client feedback and market insights to refine service offerings and pricing.
* Monitor creative, CRO, and performance marketing trends; proactively suggest new formats, services, and go-to-market ideas.
* Participate in developing outbound sales strategies and messaging frameworks.
* Represent the studio in partnerships, industry events, and online communities when relevant.
* Ensure clear documentation of client requirements, scopes, and commercial terms.
* Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
