Motion Designer

Role Overview: We are looking for a skilled Motion Designer with strong expertise in Rive and web-based animation. In this role, you will create interactive animations that enhance our product experience, elevate our marketing materials, and support engaging visual communication across the company. You will work closely with product designers, developers, and the creative team to ensure all animations are functional, performant, and aligned with our visual style. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys combining creativity with technical implementation and wants to contribute to a dynamic digital product environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create high-quality interactive animations in Rive for web interfaces, including UI elements, icons, illustrations, micro-interactions, and gameplay animations.
• Collaborate with product designers and developers to integrate Rive animations into web products and ensure proper implementation.
• Support the marketing team by producing animated assets for ads, social media, landing pages, and promo campaigns.
• Set up and maintain state machines and animation logic in Rive to enable responsive and interactive behavior.
• Optimize animations for performance, file size, and consistency across browsers and devices (desktop and mobile web).
   

What you'll need to succeed:

• 3+ years of experience in motion design.
• Proven hands-on experience creating animations in Rive for web interfaces.
• Experience optimizing animations for web performance and lightweight file delivery.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams (design & development).
   

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Understanding of UI/UX principles and how animation influences user experience.
• Experience creating game-related animations (gameplay interactions, rewards, win/lose animations).

Additional Pluses:

• Experience with After Effects, Lottie, or similar animation tools.
• Understanding of front-end implementation constraints (HTML/CSS/JS).
• Experience collaborating with marketing or creative teams on promo or ad creatives.
   

Probation Period Challenges:

• Learning our product structure, visual style, and animation guidelines.
