Youtube Scripwriter

We’re looking for a YouTube Script Writer who can turn ideas, outlines, or briefs into engaging, high-retention video scripts. You’ll be responsible for crafting hooks, structuring content for watch time, and translating complex ideas into clear, compelling stories.

This role is ideal for someone who understands audience psychology, pacing, and storytelling—not just writing.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

Write YouTube scripts optimized for engagement and retention (5–15 minutes).

Create strong hooks within the first 5–10 seconds.

Structure scripts with clear flow: hook → context → value → payoff.

Adapt tone based on brand voice and target audience.

Collaborate with content strategists, editors, and SEO teams.

Revise scripts based on feedback and performance insights.

Research topics to ensure accuracy, clarity, and relevance.

🧠 Requirements & Skills

Proven experience writing YouTube scripts or similar video content.

Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, and audience retention.

Ability to write in a conversational, engaging tone.

Familiarity with YouTube content formats (educational, explainer, talking head, commentary, etc.).

Bonus: Basic understanding of SEO, content strategy, or analytics.

Strong English writing skills and attention to detail.

Ability to meet deadlines consistently.
