Country manager HQ (India)
We are looking for a talented Country Manager (HQ) to join MD Finance. In this role, you will represent the HQ within our newly formed Indian subsidiary and take end-to-end ownership of daily operations and business performance. You will lead the setup and scaling of core processes, own the P&L, and ensure that the subsidiary operates in line with MD Finance standards while meeting local regulatory requirements.

Main Responsibilities:
Represent MDfin’s interests within the subsidiary company and ensure adherence to corporate standards and policies.
Operational management: lead and oversee day-to-day operations.
Recruit and train operational staff: build, onboard, and develop a high-performing team; set SOPs and training programs.
P&L responsibility: monitor revenues and expenses, ensuring profitability and liquidity.
Communication and strategic alignment: support effective communication and coordination between MDfin and the Indian subsidiary.
Business scaling and efficiency: participate in business growth initiatives and drive operational efficiency, ensuring that infrastructure remains secure and compliant with group requirements.

Efficient and transparent operations in full alignment with MDfin’s corporate standards.
Achievement of financial targets and delivery of a positive P&L result.
Timely and accurate management reporting to the headquarters.
Scalable and transparent business processes that support sustainable long-term growth.
Professional Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in PDL.
Proven experience in P&L ownership and budgeting; strong understanding of financial analysis and unit economics.
Knowledge of corporate and tax legislation, as well as compliance and risk management principles.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and leadership skills; ability to build processes from the ground up.
English proficiency at Upper-Intermediate level or higher; knowledge of Hindi is an advantage.
Proactive, independent, and results-oriented professional attitude.
