Head of Deliverability (iGaming)

We are a high-energy iGaming company with 3+ years of success and a team of 1,000+ passionate professionals. Our 8 major projects are expanding fast, and we are looking for a Head of Deliverability to lead our email strategy, ensure top-tier inbox placement, and drive player engagement across multiple international projects.
 

What you’ll do:

  • Lead deliverability strategy: Oversee inbox placement, open rates, CTR, bounce rates, spam complaints, reputation, and blocklists.
  • Ensure technical compliance: Guide SPF, DKIM, DMARC, rDNS/HELO, alignment, DNS configurations, BIMI, and FBL implementation.
  • Manage sender reputation: Supervise IP/domain warm-ups, blacklists, ESP/MBP correspondence, and dedicated vs shared IPs.
  • Drive analytics and reporting: Lead dashboard creation in Power BI or Looker, test hypotheses, and provide actionable recommendations to improve engagement and reduce complaints.
  • Collaborate across teams: Partner with marketing, CRM, and IT to define content strategy, timing/frequency, segmentation, consent policies, double opt-in, and preference center strategies.
  • Ensure compliance: Oversee GDPR/local regulations, provider policies, and maintain proper documentation.
  • Mentor and grow the team: Coach deliverability specialists, share best practices, and scale team capabilities as the company grows.
     

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience: 3+ years in email marketing/deliverability with proven inbox placement results; prior management or leadership experience is a plus.
  • Technical skills: SPF/DKIM/DMARC, DNS, rDNS, IP/domain warm-up, multi-domain strategies.
  • Tools: ESPs (Customer.io, SendGrid, or similar), postmaster tools, Folderly, Warmy, GlockApps, Mail-Tester.
  • Analytics: Power BI or Looker Studio (dashboards, metrics, visualizations).
  • Compliance knowledge: GDPR and provider policies; experience working with user data and consent.
  • Leadership & communication: Ability to explain complex technical issues, lead a team, and train colleagues across departments.
     

Nice-to-haves:

  • BIMI, ARC, DMARC aggregate/forensic analysis
  • Scaling email volumes of 1M+/month
  • Experience with SMTP-relay/self-hosted stacks
