Shopify app Backend Developer - PHP Laravel to $4000 Offline

Our Shopify app is one of the fastest growing with +14,000 active users. Our goal is to hit 50,000 users next year. To get there, we are building a world class product and you will play a key role in that journey. We're looking for a backend developer who can help us maintain and develop new features. NOT ANY DEVELOPER.

Someone who will be able to join a spaceship that's going to the moon. Someone who will have to manage and grow an engineering team of about 10 people by next year. A true leader. A true A-player.

You are not scared from legacy code, building new things or thinking out of the box.

Deliverables

• Own the backend of Rapi and lead the technical vision
• Manage and grow an engineering team of about 10 people
• Build new features used by thousands of merchants every day
• Optimize performance as Rapi scales from 14k to 50k stores
• Work directly with the founder to shape the product roadmap
• Collaborate with frontend, QA, support and design
• Solve real problems at scale including bundles, subscriptions, upsells and analytics
   

Do not apply if you

• Only built Shopify stores or themes
• Never worked on a real public Shopify app
• Do not understand Shopify OAuth
• Never handled Shopify Billing API
• Never used webhooks with queues and retries
• Do not know how to manage rate limits
• Only worked on simple CRUD projects
• Cannot lead and grow an engineering team
• Are scared of responsibility and high expectations
