Machine Learning Intern (Robotics) to $500
About the Role:
We are looking for a Machine Learning Intern passionate about robotics, robot arms, and applying machine learning to control and perception. In this role, you’ll work on the foundations of our robot learning stack and have the opportunity to influence fundamental technical decisions. You’ll also get hands-on experience with cutting-edge robotic systems, building and demonstrating impressive robot manipulation capabilities using various hardware platforms.
What You’ll Do:
- Collaborate with the team during daily check-ins to align on goals and progress.
- Contribute to the development of the machine learning stack: implementing new features, debugging, and optimization.
- Collect, curate, and filter data (automatically or manually, depending on the task).
- Train neural network policies for robotic arms.
- Work on computer vision components within the robot learning framework.
- Document, schedule, and evaluate experiments.
What We’re Looking For:
- Programming experience (preferably in Python)
- Projects or work experience
- Basics of: linear algebra, calculus (derivatives), probability, and statistics.
What Makes You Stand Out:
- Practical experience with deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, JAX).
- Familiarity with robot arms (inverse kinematics, control fundamentals).
- Background in data analysis, computer vision, statistics, or optimal control.
