Game Mathematician
At NeverEnding, we create games that truly hook players — and we’re now looking for a Game Mathematician to help us design mechanics that bring both fun to players and profit to the business.
This role is for someone who wants to build new games from scratch, work across different genres (slots, instant, crash), and influence every number that appears in the game.
What you’ll do:
- Design game mathematics: RTP, volatilities, hit frequency, distribution curves.
- Develop mathematical models for slot, instant, and crash games.
- Write simulations and analyze results to ensure proper game balance.
- Collaborate closely with game designers, artists, product managers, and developers to create a cohesive gameplay experience.
- Identify technical constraints, risks, and find solutions early at the concept stage.
What we expect from you:
- 3+ years of experience in game math or game design with a strong mathematical focus.
- Solid understanding of slot mechanics, RTP, volatility, and bonus systems.
- Proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets and knowledge of TypeScript or C# for running simulations.
- Experience balancing payout tables and free spins is a big plus.
- English — C1 (Advanced).
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to simplify complex systems.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Thinks like a player, but reasons like an analyst.
- Can build models that serve both gameplay and business goals.
- Wants to work on new ideas, not copy existing features.
- Loves numbers, experiments, and challenges.
Why join NeverEnding?
- Work from scratch on the company’s first games.
- Influence the development of the game portfolio and math direction.
- Direct collaboration with founders and the product team.
- Flexibility, speed, and plenty of creative freedom.
- A startup with the ambition to become a next-generation game provider.
