Head of Design (iGaming)

We are looking for a creative and strategic Head of Design to lead the design function in our product-based iGaming company. The goal is to create a distinctive, recognizable visual style that builds trust, evokes player emotion, and drives key business metrics โ€” conversion, retention, and revenue.

 

๐ŸŽฏ Key Responsibilities

  • Strong expertise in building and improving user flows (mobile first).
  • Use design as a tool to enhance business metrics: increase FTD, improve retention, and grow ARPU.
  • Launch UX/UI experiments and implement best practices proven effective in gaming or crypto industries.
  • Deep understanding of game design principles, focusing on emotional engagement and player retention.
  • Own and evolve the design system to enable rapid scaling of the product.

     

๐Ÿ‘ฅ Team Leadership

  • Build and develop a team of designers (UX, UI, Motion, Visual โ€” both in-house and contractors).
  • Mentor and elevate the skill level of the team, fostering a culture of strong design thinking.
  • Organize the workflow of the design team โ€” reviews, shared standards, stand-ups, and best practices.

     

๐Ÿ’ก Requirements

  • 5+ years of design experience in iGaming, crypto, or other high-conversion digital industries.
  • At least 2 years of experience as Lead/Head of Design with responsibility for measurable business outcomes and team mentorship.
  • Proven experience leading products through the entire lifecycle โ€” from prototype to launch and scaling (0 to 1).
  • Deep understanding of UX for iGaming and crypto products (mandatory).
  • Strong grasp of game design mechanics and emotional engagement principles.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret A/B testing results and understand the business impact of design changes (CR, Retention, LTV).
