Senior Meta Media Buyer

We’re hiring a Senior Meta Media Buyer to own performance end-to-end across multiple accounts at ~$200k+/mo spend. This is not a “push buttons” role. You’ll think in terms of unit economics (CAC, payback, LTV, contribution margin), plan 1–3 months ahead, and collaborate closely with our Creative Lead. You will provide the guidance, concepts, test plan, and enforce the testing schedule. Compensation is performance-based with upside for sustained ROI.

What You'll Own (outcomes, not just tasks)
P&L mindset: Hit and scale MER/ROAS while holding CAC/payback/LTV within targets.
Growth roadmap: Rolling 1–3 month plan (angles, offers, campaign structure, budgets) per account.
Creative guidance: Translate data into clear directives - what’s working, what’s not, and what to build next.
Test orchestration: Define how many creatives per cycle, mix (video/static/UGC/motion), formats (Reels/Stories/Feed/Collection), copy & headlines, and own the QA + on-time delivery of creative assets and ad setups.
Proactive optimization: Prevent fatigue, shift budgets/bids, reshape objectives, re-segment audiences, and trigger CRO/LP fixes before performance dips.
Client visibility: Ship weekly executive reports to standard, with forecasts, risks, and next steps.

Core Responsibilities

Strategy & Setup
Map TOF/MOF/BOF journeys; ensure message-match from ads → LP/PDP/app store → email/SMS.
Implement resilient tracking: Pixel + CAPI (server-side), Events Manager/AEM, UTMs, and GA4/MMP sanity checks.

Creative Guidance & Test Planning
Maintain an angle bank tied to audience insights and objections.
For each test cycle, specify:
Volume & mix: e.g., 6–8 new assets/wk (4 video, 2 static), plus 2 copy/headline sets per asset.
Hooks & claims: problem → proof → outcome; compliance-safe.
Formats & specs: Reels/Stories/Feed, aspect ratios, first-frame rules.
Copy system: primary text, headlines, CTAs; variations for cold/warm/hot.
Own the schedule: track briefs → production → review → launch; enforce deadlines and QA (creative and tracking).
Run structured experiments (hooks, formats, copy, offers, LPs) and log outcomes.

Optimization & Scale
Diagnose with CPM, CTR, CPC, CVR, CPA/CAC, ROAS/MER, AOV/LTV, payback.
Trigger scale events with guardrails (budget steps, audience breadth, geo expansion, bidding shifts).
Define stop-loss and refresh rules; manage learning phases and ASC/ABO/CBO mix.

Reporting & Communication
Deliver weekly client reports (KPI deltas, creative learnings, funnel insights, 14–30 day plan).
Keep shared dashboards current; flag risks early with mitigation paths; coordinate CRO/retention asks.

Compliance & Brand Safety
Enforce Meta policy, claims substantiation, and FTC/ASA guidance; protect page feedback score.

Pacing accuracy vs daily/weekly budgets; minimal wasted spend

Requirements
4–6+ years hands-on Meta buying with documented profitable scale; comfort managing $200k+/mo portfolios.
Operator mindset with unit-economics fluency (AOV, CM, CAC, LTV, payback) and forecasting.
Attribution chops: CAPI, AEM, GA4/GTM, post-purchase surveys; Triple Whale/Northbeam familiarity a plus.
Proven ability to guide creative strategy from data (briefs, hooks, claims) and to own schedules/QA.
Excellent written/verbal English; crisp stakeholder comms; async discipline (Slack, ClickUp).
Proactive, growth-oriented - you set the plan, align the squad, and own the number.

Nice to have: Shopify/Replo/Webflow CRO familiarity; TikTok/Google experience; multi-country buying.
