YouTube Scriptwriter (Freelance)

Hi! We’re looking for a YouTube Scriptwriter to join our creative team on a freelance basis with steady involvement. This is not a one-off project - we’re searching for a dedicated partner who can take ownership of the scripting process and stay engaged with us long term.

You’ll be creating engaging English-language scripts for our IT and technology YouTube channel - Jelvix | TECH IN 5 MINUTES.

Responsibilities:

• Write engaging English-language scripts (6–12 minutes) on IT and tech topics for YouTube.
• Create compelling hooks, structure the video narrative, and ensure a strong final payoff.
• Conduct research using open sources (articles, news, company blogs).
• Optimize scripts for retention and viewer engagement.

• Collaborate with the producer and creative team to finalize scripts.

   

Requirements:

• Proven experience writing scripts for YouTube channels in English.
• Understanding of IT topics: artificial intelligence, programming, cybersecurity, cloud technologies.

Nice-to-have:

• Knowledge of YouTube storytelling methodology (Hook, Promise, Context, Cycles, Payoff).

Soft Skills:

• Ability to write clear, engaging, and audience-friendly English.
• Creativity and talent for finding unique angles and perspectives.
• Ability to meet deadlines and adapt quickly to changes.

• Team spirit and openness to feedback.

   

Additional Information:

• We provide a paid test assignment, which is compensated if it is approved and further used in our workflow.

Collaboration Terms:

• This is a freelance collaboration.
• Payment is based on the number of characters in the approved scripts.
• Collaboration is conducted via a third-group FOP (self-employed).
• Payments are made once per month.
