About the project
We run a fast-paced YouTube channel about AI, micro-SaaS, and startups. You’ll turn designed frames from Figma into punchy motion graphics and assemble full YouTube videos. Think clean UI animations, kinetic typography, slick transitions, and tight edits that keep retention high.

Responsibilities

• Convert Figma storyboards into animations in Adobe After Effects (shape layers, masks, track mattes, easing, expressions when needed).
• Assemble the final edit in Premiere Pro (or DaVinci Resolve): sync VO, music, and SFX; add transitions, lower-thirds, animated callouts, charts/diagrams, captions.
• Light color correction/grading and audio cleanup (denoise, EQ, compression; loudness normalization for YouTube).
• Export deliverables (16:9 4K/1080p; optional vertical cut-downs 9:16) and manage tidy project files/naming.
• Collaborate with our designer and producer; bring proactive creative ideas, references, and ways to make shots clearer and more engaging.

Requirements

• 1+ years with After Effects and Premiere Pro (strong timing, typography, layout, animation principles).
• Confident importing assets from Figma; comfortable with shape layers, masks, track mattes, and simple expressions.
• Basic sound design and mixing; familiarity with Audition or Resolve Fairlight is a plus.
• English: at least Intermediate (comfortable reading briefs and following notes).
• A portfolio/reel showing UI/product animations and complete video edits.
• Reliable hardware and stable internet; ability to hit deadlines and work independently.

Workload & Terms

• Remote, part-time ~80 hours/month (not full-time) Maybe full time in 3-6 months 
• Flexible schedule;
• Long-term collaboration on recurring videos. Please include your hourly or monthly rate.

Hiring process

1. 15-minute intro call.
2. Paid test task: animate a 10–15s Figma frame in AE and deliver a 30–60s edit (we provide assets).
3. Start with 2–3 pilot videos.
