Mobile Growth Analyst / Product Marketing Analyst (Google Play)

About the company:

 

We develop Photo Studio, a multifunctional photo editing and design app with over 10 years on the market. In spring and summer 2025, we faced a decline in new user traffic and are looking for a specialist who can identify the reasons behind this drop and propose a strategy to restore growth.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Analyze metrics in Google Play Console: installs, traffic sources, conversion rates, retention.
  • Identify the causes of traffic decline (organic, paid campaigns, algorithm changes, seasonality, competition).
  • Assess the impact of app updates, reviews, and ratings on user acquisition.
  • Analyze advertising channels (Google Ads, Meta Ads) and their contribution to growth/decline.
  • Prepare reports with insights and hypotheses.
  • Propose specific actions to recover and improve performance.

     

Requirements:

 

  • Experience in mobile app analytics or mobile marketing.
  • Strong knowledge of Google Play Console and related analytics tools (Firebase, Appsflyer/Adjust, data.ai or similar).
  • Ability to work with data, identify trends, and formulate hypotheses.
  • Skills in preparing clear reports and actionable recommendations for the team.

     

Nice to have:

 

  • Experience with apps in Photo & Video / Design category.
  • Basic understanding of ASO (to collaborate with the ASO specialist).
  • Experience with BI tools (Looker, Power BI, Tableau).
