We’re looking for an Engineering Manager who knows how to turn a good team into a great one — a team that delivers consistently, grows individually, and genuinely loves what they do.
This isn’t just about processes and reports. It’s about building a culture where engineers feel ownership, take smart risks, and know their work makes a real impact.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years as an Engineering Manager (or similar leadership role).
  • Experience leading teams in a 100–200 people company with structured delivery and regular releases.
  • Solid grasp of Agile processes and release management.
  • Experience (or deep understanding) of cloud-native systems and zero-downtime deployments.
  • A track record of measurable impact: faster delivery, fewer incidents, successful launches.
  • You use metrics to improve decisions and processes — not just to report.
  • Passion for people: mentoring, coaching, and helping engineers grow.
  • A collaborative leadership style — you listen, challenge, and empower.
  • Familiarity with our stack (Golang, Ruby, AWS, Kubernetes, PostgreSQL) — no need to code daily, but able to engage in meaningful technical discussions.
  • English: Upper-intermediate+.

Responsibilities & Expectations:

Delivery and Quality Control

  • Ensure timely and predictable delivery using key metrics (velocity, cycle time, DORA).
  • Identify bottlenecks and process issues, implement improvements.
  • Provide high-level estimations for initiatives and features.

People Management

  • Conduct regular 1:1 meetings with engineers.
  • Set individual goals and drive professional development.
  • Foster motivation and a healthy team culture.

Resource Management

  • Assess current workload and resource needs.
  • Prepare and defend hiring requests.
  • Forecast delivery risks due to resource constraints and escalate in advance.

Proactive Risk and Priority Management

  • Collaborate with product managers to set and adjust priorities.
  • Identify and resolve potential delays and conflicts before they become blockers.

Stakeholder Management

  • Collaborate effectively with product managers, designers, and business stakeholders.
  • Communicate project status and forecasts clearly and transparently.

Process Development with a Focus on Quality

  • Build and evolve development processes with a strong emphasis on product quality.
  • Implement an effective testing pyramid (unit, integration, e2e) with clear ownership in the team.
  • Foster a culture where quality is the responsibility of every engineer, not only QA specialists.
  • Minimize dependency on dedicated QA engineers through embedded testing practices.

Psychological Safety & Team Well-being

  • Create an environment where team members feel safe to share ideas, take risks, and admit mistakes.
  • Prevent burnout and maintain a sustainable workload balance across teams and individuals.

We offer:

  • A cool, relevant and very technological product
  • Interesting work, great team, great opportunities for growth
  • Flexible work schedule (remote)
  • Stable salary
