2D Animator (Spine)

We are a Performa HR agency, and we're excited to find a top-notch professional for one of our clients. We're currently seeking an experienced 2D Animator (Spine).

Role:
You will create high-quality 2D animations for online slot games using Spine. Your work will include symbol animations, character movements, interface elements, background effects, and game event animations (e.g., wins, bonuses, free spins). Close collaboration with illustrators, game designers, and developers is expected.

Required Skills & Experience:
● 3+ years of experience as a 2D animator in gaming or interactive media.
● Proficiency in Spine 2D (including rigging, mesh deformation, IK, animation blending).
● Strong understanding of animation principles (timing, easing, anticipation,
follow-through).
● Experience preparing animations for PixiJS.
● Ability to work with existing art assets and adapt to a given visual style.
● Attention to detail and ability to deliver clean, optimized exports.
Preferred Experience:
● Background in slot game animation or iGaming.
● Familiarity with game UI/UX and visual feedback for player actions.
● Experience working in agile, asset-driven pipelines.
● Basic knowledge of JSON-based animation export/import flows.
