Laravel Backend Developer Offline

Umnikey LLC is looking for a part-time backend developer to support and extend a Laravel (PHP) member portal project for the North American Association of Sales Engineers (NAASE): https://members.sales-engineering.org/.
 

You’ll join a small remote team, working alongside our business systems analyst and front-end developer. Full project documentation is available.

What you’ll do:

• Maintain and enhance the existing Laravel (PHP) backend
• Make database changes in MySQL
• In collaboration with our business systems analyst, develop and document REST API endpoints for the Vue.js front end
• Collaborate with the business systems analyst to implement and update integrations with HubSpot CRM
• Use GitHub for version control
  
   

What we require:

• Experience with Laravel (v10+) and PHP 8
• Strong understanding of REST APIs and MySQL
• Experience integrating with third-party APIs (ideally HubSpot or similar)
• Clear communication skills with non-technical team members
  
   

Nice to have:

• Direct experience with HubSpot’s API
  
   

This is a flexible, part-time (remote) role—ideal for someone looking to supplement other projects with steady, interesting work.
