Role Overview
We’re looking for a Creative Director who lives and breathes ad creative, with a track record of producing winning video concepts at scale for affiliate and direct response offers. Your superpower is coming up with hooks, education-driven stories, and CTAs that get attention and drive action—then doubling down on what works.
You’ll lead a video editor as part of your creative team, overseeing the entire video production process, tracking the performance of each creative, and guiding your team to improve results with every iteration.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and analyze winning creatives using spy tools (e.g., AdSpy, BigSpy, VidTao) to uncover market trends and top-performing angles.
- Generate dozens of fresh, high-impact video ad ideas weekly for various offers, niches, and geos.
- Structure videos for maximum impact: strong hooks, value/education, storytelling, and irresistible CTAs.
- Direct, brief, and manage a video editor, providing clear instructions for production and creative direction.
- Track and analyze the performance of all video ads, using data to inform creative decisions and team feedback.
- Oversee creative testing processes: launch, analyze, iterate, and scale the best-performing ads.
- Build systems for creative iteration, scaling up concepts that win and cutting losers quickly.
- Collaborate with media buyers to match creative angles to target audiences and funnel stages.
- Stay up to date on trends in video ads, platform policies, and performance marketing tactics.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Creative Director or similar role in direct response or affiliate marketing.
- Experience managing and developing creative teams, including video editors.
- Deep familiarity with ad spy tools, trend analysis, and creative research.
- Portfolio of video ad concepts that have scaled profitable campaigns.
- Strong understanding of what makes a scroll-stopping hook, a sticky story, and a killer CTA.
- Experience briefing and working with video editors, UGC creators, and graphic designers.
- Data-driven: comfortable reviewing performance metrics to guide creative strategy and team feedback.
- Fast, organized, and relentless about creative testing.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- English proficiency (Intermediate+).

- Experience with multiple platforms: Meta, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Google.
- Knowledge of compliance and ad policy best practices.
- Ability to create or edit simple video concepts yourself.
