Tech Lead (Python) - eCommerce Project (Stylus)

We’re looking for a Python Tech Lead to join an eCommerce team behind Stylus — one of the most recognised multi-category online retailers in the Ukrainian market.

The team is now focused on modernising the architecture and optimising backend performance to support scaling and growing user demand.

What you'll work on:

• Leading backend development of a high-load eCommerce platform
• Redesigning and optimising existing architecture
• Ensuring scalability, performance, and code quality
• Mentoring and supporting 3 backend developers

• Collaborating with 2 frontend devs, QA, BA, and PM

   

Tech stack:

• Python (Django)
• Microservices, FastAPIs
• PostgreSQL

• React 

   

What we’re looking for:

• 5+ years of Python backend experience
• Strong experience with system architecture and performance optimisation
• Experience in e-commerce and high-load platforms is a must-have

• Previous experience in leading a team would be nice
