The Opportunity

We’re looking for a CRM Consultant / Implementation Lead to own the full onboarding lifecycle for new clients—acting as a trusted consultant, project manager, and CRM implementation expert. You’ll work closely with senior investors to tailor their ListAlpha setup, migrate data, and ensure seamless adoption.

 

This role is ideal for someone with experience implementing CRM platforms (e.g. Salesforce, DealCloud, HubSpot) who’s excited to dive deeper into the private equity world—or for someone from consulting or finance who’s strong on process and tech, and looking to join a fast-growing startup.

 

 

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the end-to-end onboarding and implementation journey for new clients—from kickoff to go-live
  • Translate client workflows into platform configurations—custom fields, views, automations, and dashboards
  • Run discovery workshops and requirements gathering sessions with deal teams
  • Manage implementation project plans: timelines, milestones, status updates
  • Oversee data migration projects: clean, transform, and import data using Excel and internal tools
  • Create investor-grade dashboards and reports (e.g. in Metabase or native tools)
  • Provide hands-on support and act as the primary point of contact throughout onboarding
  • Partner with Product and Engineering to continuously improve onboarding tools and processes

 

 

What We’re Looking For

  • 4+ years in Salesforce consulting, CRM implementation, private equity, M&A, or management consulting
  • Proven experience delivering CRM projects (Salesforce, HubSpot, DealCloud, etc.)—either in-house or as a consultant
  • Strong project management and client-facing skills—confident leading workshops, managing timelines, and engaging stakeholders
  • Advanced Excel/data transformation capabilities (e.g. PowerQuery, pivot tables, CSV mapping)
  • Bonus: Experience with reporting tools (e.g. Metabase), APIs, or working with investment firms
  • Highly structured, tech-curious, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
