About the Role:
We are looking for a Senior Database Engineer with strong expertise in Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL) to join a high-impact project for a leading American multinational payment card services corporation. The key focus will be on migrating databases from Cardinal Data Centers, so prior experience with cross-data center replication is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end database development to ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions
• Translate business needs into scalable and effective database architecture
• Design, model, and implement robust databases
• Plan capacity and analyze workload across multiple database systems
• Create and manage database tables and structures
• Implement changes according to release cycles
• Manage access controls and permissions
• Develop stored procedures to meet application requirements
• Conduct performance tuning and testing
• Review and approve database change requests
• Troubleshoot and resolve post-release database issues
• Generate analytical reports and database insights
• Perform data cleansing, purging, and archiving
• Ensure high availability and implement disaster recovery strategies
• Maintain monitoring and auditing systems for databases
• Support and improve existing infrastructure, contribute to architectural planning
• Apply security patches and remediate vulnerabilities

Must-Have Requirements:

• Minimum 5–6 years of experience in database engineering roles
• Proven expertise in Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL)
• Experience with cross-data center replication
• Ability to manage workload from a database perspective
• Strong written and spoken English
• Higher education degree in a relevant field
