Senior Data/DB engineer (contactor)

To excel in this role, we are looking for candidates with a minimum of 5 years of experience in MS SQL.  

About the project  

Our client, a corporate trade leader for nearly four decades, enables companies to maximize the value of their assets, increase their return on ad spend, and secure funding for unbudgeted expenses. Independent and with an unrivaled vantage point in the media industry, our client supports both large and small brands and agencies in achieving higher ROI by leveraging incremental value in the same high-quality properties and services they already purchase. 
The project involves developing a CRM system for the client’s sales departments. 

Requirements:  

  • Strong MS SQL experience.
  • Experience with Power BI – not necessarily deep visualization skills, but good understanding of data models and connecting data sources.
  • Experience with data integration from multiple sources.
  • Basic data engineering skills: transforming and preparing datasets for analysis.
  • Good communication skills and ability to coordinate with DataOps teams.
  • English: Upper-Intermediate or higher 

Responsibilities: 

  • Adding new data sources to the already existing LLM for processing. Preparing views for the further Power Bi visualization.
  • Close communication with the client would be needed and the ability to transform business needs to the technical requirements.     

Schedule: 5/2, 20-40 hours of work per week. Nice to have up to 4 hours of work per NY timezone
