We are looking for a skilled copywriter to create compelling, professional, and conversion-driven content for our B2B gaming industry marketplace. This role requires a writer with a strong understanding of SEO, UX writing, and persuasive marketing content to enhance vendor and customer engagement.
The copywriter will be responsible for writing all website content, including homepage, category pages, vendor pages, product pages, help center, and promotional text. This is a project-based contract with a possibility of ongoing collaboration for future content updates and marketing materials.
Key Responsibilities:
- ● Write clear, concise, and engaging content for all sections of the marketplace (homepage, about us page, vendor pages, product pages, etc.).
- ● Create persuasive call-to-action (CTA) statements that encourage vendors to register and buyers to engage.
- ● Optimize content with SEO best practices, using relevant keywords naturally.
Write trust-building elements, including verification labels, credibility statements, and customer assurance messaging. - ● Ensure all content aligns with our brand tone and messaging strategy (B2B, professional, authoritative, yet approachable).
- ● Collaborate with UX designers, developers, and stakeholders to integrate content seamlessly into the website layout.
- ● Help to Develop FAQ and Help Center articles to guide vendors and customers.
● Suggest improvements in text hierarchy, readability, and user journey flow based on
wireframes.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Proven experience in writing for B2B marketplaces or eCommerce platforms.
- Portfolio showcasing website copy (marketplace experience is a big plus).
- Strong understanding of SEO (keyword integration, metadata, readability).
Experience with conversion-driven copywriting (e.g., landing pages, sign-up flows,
CTAs). Familiarity with UI/UX principles and how content fits into user journeys is nice
to have.
- Ability to write in a professional but engaging tone for a global audience.
Strong research skills to understand industry-specific terminology (e.g., gaming
software, payment solutions, traffic monetization).
7. Fluent in English (additional languages like Spanish, Ukrainian, Russian are a plus). Availability for at least one revision round based on feedback.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
Experience with WordPress, Elementor, or other CMS platforms. Knowledge of the gaming industry.
Ability to work with Figma or wireframes to structure content effectively.
Project Timeline & Scope:
- ● Estimated project duration: 4–6 weeks (flexible based on progress).
- ● Expected workload: ~20–30 pages of content
- ● Revisions: Up to two revision rounds based on feedback.
