Laravel / Golang Software Engineer

💼 About the Role

We're looking for a Laravel / Golang Engineer to help develop and scale our internal and client-facing fintech platforms. You'll join a cross-functional team of product thinkers, engineers, and designers to shape high-performance systems that drive financial innovation.

• Backend: Laravel (PHP 8+), Golang (planned)
• Database: MySQL, Redis
• API: GraphQL, gRPC (planned)
• Tools: Git, Docker, CI/CD (GitHub)
• Cloud: AWS

🧩 What You'll Do

• Help migrate from a monolithic Laravel application to a Go-based micro services architecture
• Develop and maintain core backend services in Laravel and Golang
• Participate in system architecture and API design
• Work closely with product team to deliver robust solutions
• Optimize application performance and scalability
• Contribute to code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement

✅ Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in backend development (Laravel or Golang)
• At least Intermediate English (all communication and documentation is in English)
• Ability to work 2–3 days per week from our Kyiv office (Business Center Magnett) or from offices in Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia
• Solid understanding of OOP, design patterns, and system architecture
• Experience working with SQL databases and caching systems
• Familiarity with Docker and Linux-based environments
• Basic understanding of micro services and API integrations
• Self-driven with good communication skills

📋 Interview Process

1. Initial interview with HR and/or CTO — up to 30 minutes via Google Meet (camera required)
2. Technical interview with senior engineers — up to 2 hours via Google Meet (camera required)
3. Team match interview with CTO and CPO — up to 45 minutes via Google Meet (camera required)
4. Final decision
