Senior AI/ML Engineer Offline

We’re looking for a hands-on Senior AI/ML Engineer with a strong background in large language models and a passion for solving real-world problems with cutting-edge AI. In this role, you’ll lead the development of LLM-based systems, with a focus on improving how we understand and process construction-related documents.
You’ll work closely with product managers and engineers to integrate AI into scalable production environments, and you’ll own everything from model fine-tuning to designing smart, reliable prompt strategies.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Demonstrable ability with Python and FastAPI
• Practical knowledge of the strengths and weaknesses of industry leading LLMs and AIsolutions

• Track record of building:

  ○ RAG Pipelines
  ○ Generative AI solutions using sensitive user data, in a multi-tenant environment
  ○ Vector search solutions and infrastructure built from the ground up
  ○ LLM routing and orchestration tooling (LangChain, LlamaIndex)

• Experience using n8n, preferably an enterprise level
• Passion for rapid prototyping, and delivering value
• Experience with LLMs mutating data, as opposed to just reading it. Including securityconcerns and compliance
• At least Upper Intermediate English level.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy LLM-based solutions using Python and FastAPI
• Build and maintain automation pipelines and data workflows using n8n and Ruby onRails
• Develop and optimize LLM workflows including:○ RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) pipelines
  ○ Vector-based storage and retrieval solutions (e.g. FAISS, Weaviate, Chroma)
  ○ Custom LLM workflows built from scratch using private datasets
  ○ User-scoped document and knowledge retrieval
• Create and manage LLM routers and MCP based APIs for consumption
• Collaborate with product and data teams to define AI-driven product features
• Ensure security and privacy in handling user data, including user-specific responses
• Monitor, test, and continuously improve model performance and system stability
• Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code and APIs
