3D Artist Offline

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced 3D Artist with strong QA expertise to join our team. In this role, you will ensure the quality and precision of photo-realistic 3D assets and virtual spaces delivered by a global team of freelance 3D artists.
Key Responsibilities:

1. Quality Assurance for 3D Model Creation:
   • Verify model accuracy: image-to-image match, texture/material precision, and PBR texture compliance
   • Inspect meshes, UVs, vertex count, GLB file sizes, and asset types
   • Use 3D inspection tools for wireframes and UV validation

   • Ensure AR compatibility (iOS/Android)

      

2. Quality Assurance for Space Creation:
   • Review geometry integrity and performance
   • Check staging/tagging accuracy and interior/exterior consistency
   • Conduct 360° and lighting inspections

   • Perform final quality control for delivery

      

3. Team Improvement:
   • Provide continuous feedback to freelance 3D artists
   • Help improve their skills, techniques, and quality standards

   • Foster a collaborative, quality-first environment

      

Required Skills & Experience:

• Solid experience in 3D QA or technical art QA (preferably as Middle or Strong Junior)
• Hands-on expertise with 3D modeling tools (e.g., Blender, Maya, 3ds Max)
• Knowledge of file formats (GLB, FBX) and AR/VR requirements
• Familiarity with PBR workflows, lighting techniques, and 3D inspection tools
• Detail-oriented mindset with strong organizational skills
• Experience working with remote, freelance teams is a plus
