About the Role

We're looking for a highly experienced SQL Analyst / Developer to join a distributed technical team (5–10 people) working across Ireland and international locations. You will play a key role in delivering data to the SAP Finance system and ensuring compliance with SRB and BCBS regulatory requirements.

Main Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-quality SQL-based solutions aligned with enterprise IT standards and banking regulations.
• Work with a wide range of tools including Teradata, Informatica, Axon, SAP, AWS, Alteryx, and SAS.
• Collaborate closely with finance end users and technical stakeholders in an Agile environment.
• Lead and mentor team members while remaining hands-on with development and delivery.
• Support regulatory data delivery (e.g., BCBS) and contribute to key transformation initiatives.

Must-Have Qualifications

• 7+ years of commercial experience in enterprise IT projects
• 5+ years working with Financial Institutions and end users directly
• 5+ years of team leadership experience
• Advanced SQL expertise and proven hands-on experience
• Deep understanding of databases, data pipelines, and ETL processes
• Demonstrated success in delivering production-ready systems in highly regulated environments
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work across distributed teams and matrix structures
• Fluent English

Nice to Have

• Experience with Agile delivery (results-focused approach)
• Familiarity with Teradata, Informatica, Alteryx, SAS
• BCBS data delivery experience
