Data Engineer to $3500

Summary of Responsibilities:

We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for extracting, transforming, and preparing legacy client data for migration into Dynamics 365 FO and CE. You will work on various data processing and storage tasks, including ETL/ELT pipelines, data migration, software integration, database management, data warehousing, and data lakes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL and ELT pipelines for data migration.
• Process and transform legacy client data for integration into D365 FO and CE.
• Work with relational and non-relational databases to ensure efficient data management.
• Collaborate with external clients to understand their data needs and provide tailored solutions.
• Leverage the Microsoft Stack (Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, Logic Apps) for data processing.
• Utilize Databricks, Python, and SQL for data transformation and analysis.
• Estimate effort levels for data solutions and ensure project timelines are met.
• Translate business requirements into actionable technical tasks for the data engineering team.
• Develop and optimize data models and database designs to support business processes.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, maintaining professional and courteous communication.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Economics, or Finance.
• 3+ years of experience working with relational and non-relational databases.
• Hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 data and migrations.
• Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Stack, including Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, and Logic Apps.
• Proficiency in Databricks, Python, and SQL.
• Ability to estimate workload for data solutions and meet deadlines.
• Experience in translating business requirements into technical solutions.
• Strong data modeling and database design expertise.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders.
• English proficiency: Upper-Intermediate to Expert level.
