What you will do:- Support customer's pricing teams during their lifecycle at Competera.
- Gain, maintain and share knowledge about customer pricing process and needs.
- Recommend improvements in customers' pricing process based on best practices.
- Work with the project team on solution requirements.
- Design AB tests with the project team.
- Configure pricing platform UI based on customer's needs.
- Train end users to use the solution effectively.
- Proactively work with users on product adoption to maximize value.
- Tactical pricing support for end users.
- Analyze pricing results.
- Participate in quarterly business reviews.
- Perform additional analytics upon request.
- Work with the product team around backlog and new feature releases.
Starter-kit needed to join the board:- 5+ years of pricing experience.
- Knowing product segmentation methodologies and best practices (Nielsen, McKinsey, etc).
- Pricing Analytics: Understanding pricing models and metrics to evaluate and set optimal.
- Financial Modeling: Building and analyzing financial models to understand profitability at different price points.
- Elasticity Analysis: Understanding how demand changes with price fluctuations, often called price elasticity of demand.
- Product Segmentation: Ability to identify and categorize different product segments and their performance.
- Promotion and Discount Strategy: Knowledge of how discounts, promotions, and rebates affect sales and profit margins.
- Product Lifecycle Management: Understanding how a product's price may need to change as it moves through its lifecycle from introduction to decline.
- Econometrics: Applying statistical methods to economic data to give empirical content to economic relationships.
