Roku TV Developer Needed to Build Custom TCP Tunnel SDK

We are looking for an experienced Roku TV Developer to develop a custom TCP Tunnel SDK for our platform.

Project Overview:

We currently have an SDK for Windows, Linux, macOS, and Android written in Golang, along with a backend server. However, this SDK is not compatible with Roku TV, so we need a new version built specifically for this platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a Roku-compatible SDK that runs in the background when the main app starts.
  • Establish a TCP tunnel by connecting the SDK to our main server (test server address and port will be provided).
  • Ensure the SDK routes incoming TCP data packets from the server through the device’s main connection to the intended destination.
  • Handle response routing, ensuring replies from the destination resource are properly transmitted back through the tunnel.

Additional Details:

  • The SDK will follow a custom communication protocol, and we will provide full protocol documentation.
  • The solution must be efficient, stable, and optimized for Roku TV.
  • Experience with BrightScript and Roku’s SceneGraph framework is preferred.

If you have expertise in networking solutions for Roku TV and experience working with TCP tunnels and custom protocols, we’d love to hear from you!
