System Administrator

We are looking for a System Administrator who wants to grow into a DevOps role, for a long-term project on a full-time basis.

Position Responsibilities:

• Installation, configuration, and maintenance of Linux servers and workstations, ensuring system reliability, performance, and security.

• Management and configuration of network services and devices, including routers and switches, with a focus on MikroTik products.

• Performing routine system maintenance, backups, and disaster recovery.

• Implementing network security measures, managing firewalls, and configuring VPNs and proxies (VLESS, Shadowsocks) to protect confidential data.

• Working with virtualization based on Proxmox.

• Managing containers (Docker, LXC).

• Administering services at a system administrator level, including RocketChat, Atlassian (Jira, Confluence), and GitLab.

Ideal Candidate:

• Proven experience as a System Administrator, with in-depth knowledge of Linux environment management.

• Significant experience working with MikroTik routers and switches, including configuration and troubleshooting.

• Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python).

• Excellent critical thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Knowledge of network protocols (e.g., IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, QoS) and network security best practices will be an advantage.
