Middle/Senior Product Owner
Description:
The client is one of the largest global independent private equity fund administrators, administering over $300 billion of private capital on behalf of its clients with offices in New York, San Francisco, Boston, Stamford, Dallas, and Luxembourg. They offer private fund sponsors a best-in-class combination of people, processes, and technology, enabling fund sponsors to most effectively manage their operational infrastructure, financial reporting, and investor communications.
The client represents the most experienced and longest-tenured team in the private equity fund administration industry, with broad expertise across buyouts, funds of funds, real estate, energy, infrastructure, credit, co-investment, hybrid funds, feeder funds, venture capital, retail, and managed accounts.
The project aims to provide well-prepared and formatted analytic data for the customer.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst/Product Owner
- Knowledge of SDLC and agile software development methodologies
- Ability to create clear requirements documentation (English writing, diagrams)
- Excellent knowledge of system analysis, business process analysis, and optimization
- Strong attention to detail, strong logic skills, ability to identify corner cases and provide the solution for the product
- Good understanding of UX and design
- Strong knowledge in practices and techniques of business analysis, requirements gathering, and solutions assessment
- Good interpersonal, communication, and facilitation skills
- Good negotiation skills
- Upper-intermediate level of English (written and verbal)
- Experience with Jira
- Experience in financial domain will be a big advantage
Job responsibilities
- Drive a Scrum teamβs requirements as the Technical Product Owner
- Backlog management, iteration planning, and refinement of user stories
- Schedule, plan, and facilitate Scrum events as needed
- Collect, define, and translate business objectives and distribute them to a Scrum team
- Create detailed and understandable requirements, tasks, and support functionality till production
- Interact with a team, organize product development, and deliver product vision and functionality to the team
- Collaborate proactively with Business Stakeholders, Project Managers, and Teams to reach a common understanding of the solution to address the needs
- Track team health and related improvements as needed
