Role Overview

We are looking for an AI Engineer specializing in Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) with a strong product focus. You will develop, optimize, and evaluate RAG pipelines as part of our core product development process.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production-grade RAG pipelines for legal applications.
• Optimize RAG pipelines for accuracy, speed, and user experience.
• Evaluate LLM and RAG systems using relevant performance metrics.
• Clearly document evaluation outcomes and use insights for product improvement.
• Build and maintain REST APIs for integration with product workflows.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, legal experts, and engineering teams.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of software development experience.
• Strong Python programming skills.
• Solid understanding of NLP fundamentals, experience with NLP libraries and frameworks.
• Working knowledge of modern LLM toolchains.
• Experience building and optimizing RAG-based retrieval systems.
• Proven skills in evaluating LLMs.
• Practical experience with vector databases (e.g., FAISS, Pinecone, Weaviate).
• Familiarity with cloud services (Azure preferred) and Docker.
• Strong communication and project management skills.
• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on experience with Azure AI Search (former Cognitive Search)
• Working knowledge of REST API development.
• Machine Learning or Data Science background.
