AI/ML Ops Engineer (.NET Background)

We are looking for an experienced AI/ML Ops Engineer with a strong .NET development background to join our team. The primary focus of this role is .NET development, while experience in AI, Large Language Models (LLM), and Prompt Engineering will be a significant advantage. Our client is actively expanding their AI team, and this role presents an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge AI-driven projects.

Essential Technical Skills:

• Backend Development
• Deep knowledge of .NET 9 and C#
• Experience with ASP.NET Core and API development
• Entity Framework Core proficiency
• Strong understanding of software architecture patterns
• ML/AI Operations
• Experience deploying and maintaining ML models in production environments
• Knowledge of ML-Ops principles, workflows, and tooling
• Experience with NLP models, document classification, and entity extraction
• Expertise in optimizing prompts for large language models (LLMs)
• Model Deployment & Management
• Experience with machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch)
• ML.NET implementation experience
• Model versioning, testing, and validation
• Performance optimization for legal document processing
• Cloud & DevOps
• Strong Azure experience (Azure ML, Azure OpenAI, Azure Cognitive Services)
• CI/CD pipeline development for ML models
• Docker containerization and Kubernetes orchestration
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) experience
• Data Processing & Pipelines
• Building robust data processing pipelines for legal documents
• Automated data preprocessing workflows
• Data validation and quality assurance techniques
• Experience with batch and stream processing

Additional Requirements:

• Legal Domain Knowledge
• Understanding of legal workflows and document structures (preferred)
• Experience with case management systems (beneficial)
• Knowledge of legal data compliance requirements
• Monitoring & Optimization
• Experience setting up monitoring for ML model performance
• Detecting and addressing model drift in production
• Resource usage optimization for cost efficiency
• Latency reduction techniques for ML services
• Security & Compliance
• Implementation of data privacy mechanisms for sensitive legal information
• Knowledge of relevant compliance frameworks (GDPR, HIPAA, etc.)
• Secure deployment practices for AI systems
• Access control implementation for sensitive data
• Collaboration & Communication
• Ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Experience working with product and legal teams
• Documentation skills for ML processes and systems
• Proactive problem-solving approach

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields
• 3+ years of experience in .NET development
• 2+ years of experience with ML/AI systems in production environments
• Experience in legal tech or similar regulated industries (preferred)
