Middle Power BI Developer

Responsibilities

– Design, development, and delivery of BI solutions using Power BI and SQL
– Publishing and managing reports via the Power BI service
– Consult and train customers to build their own visualization in Power BI service
– Conducting workshops and presentations

Requirements

– Minimum of 2 years of experience in Power BI development and implementation
– Confident practical experience of working with Power BI (DAX, Power Query, RLS)

– Experience of developing Power BI reports full cycle (data import, modeling, creating measures, visualizations)
-Understanding of landing, staging area, data cleansing, data profiling, data security and data architecture concepts (DWH, Data Lake, Delta Lake/Lakehouse, Datamart)
– Strong SQL-skills

– Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing concepts, and ETL processes.
– Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify data patterns, trends, and insights.

– Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients and team members at all levels.
– Experience in working with diverse industries and domains, understanding various business processes and challenges.

– English —at least upper intermediate level is a must (including presentation skills)
– Experience working in Agile development environment with tools such as Jira

Nice to Have:

– Experience in building ETL (Extract, Transform and Load) pipelines
– Knowledge of programming languages: Python
– Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst certified preferred
