Compliance Manager $$$ Offline

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Review, approve, and negotiate contracts including membership agreements, lease / sub-lease agreements, service agreements, employment contracts, licenses, marketing/advertising agreements, NDAs, etc., across all jurisdictions;
  • Draft legal documents such as website terms and conditions, privacy and cookie policies;
  • Develop and implement internal policies, including data protection documentation;
  • Support day-to-day legal activities and operations of the company;
  • Provide legal support that covers specific business needs of departments or business units in other countries;
  • Register foreign companies and their branches (Europe, Asia, particularly UAE);
  • Provide annual maintenance (renewal) of foreign companies;
  • Liaison with local advisors;
  • Advise clients on basic legal issues;
  • Order and coordinate documents for transactions and upon individual requests;
  • Participate in business structuring using foreign companies.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Law;
  • 3+ years of experience in a similar position with foreign jurisdictions;
  • Proficiency in English at Upper-Intermediate level or higher;
  • Experience with English-language legal documents—ability to draft,  analyze corporate documents;
  • Proficiency in drafting and contracts, agreements, and legal documents
  • Knowledge of procedures for registration and renewal of foreign companies, due diligence/compliance/KYC;
  • Preferred experience working with foreign banks, participation in international projects, and professional software (electronic document flow, task management systems);
  • Experience with UAE-based regulators and state authorities will be significant plus;
  • Ability to apply practical business judgment to legal matters;
  • Capacity to analyze potential legal risks in operational jurisdictions;
  • Expertise in implementing and ensuring legal compliance, keeping up with regulatory requirements;
  • Effective collaboration with external legal partners;
  • Capability to assist in various legal needs across departments and countries
  • Strong communication skills with partners, audit firms, and service providers globally.
