Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior AI/ML Engineer to join our forward-thinking team. As an AI/ML Engineer at Trialize, you will design, develop, and deploy machine learning models and AI systems to enhance our clinical trial platform. You will work on a variety of projects, from building predictive models and natural language processing (NLP) systems to integrating AI with our data lake architecture. Your contributions will directly impact the efficiency and accuracy of clinical trials, helping us deliver innovative solutions to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Model Development: Design, train, and deploy machine learning models, including deep learning models, for various clinical trial applications.
• Data Engineering: Collaborate with data engineers to process and analyze large datasets from our enterprise data lake, ensuring data quality and relevance for model training.
• NLP and Text Analytics: Develop NLP systems for extracting information from unstructured text, such as medical records, clinical trial protocols, and scientific literature.
• AI Integration: Work closely with software engineers to integrate AI models into production systems, ensuring scalability, reliability, and compliance with industry standards.
• Algorithm Optimization: Optimize algorithms for performance, accuracy, and efficiency. Explore techniques like hyperparameter tuning, model compression, and transfer learning.
• Innovation and Research: Stay updated with the latest research in AI and machine learning, and apply new techniques to improve our platform.
• Mentorship and Collaboration: Lead and mentor junior data scientists and engineers. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive AI projects from conception to deployment.

Key Qualifications

• Extensive Experience: Strong background in machine learning, deep learning, and AI, with a proven track record of deploying models in production.
• Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, with experience in frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn.
• NLP Expertise: Experience with NLP techniques, including text classification, named entity recognition, and sentiment analysis. Familiarity with transformers and pre-trained models like BERT or GPT.
• Data Skills: Strong experience in data preprocessing, feature engineering, and working with large datasets. Proficiency in SQL and data manipulation tools.
• Cloud and Big Data: Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark).
• Analytical Mindset: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and extract actionable insights.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with healthcare or clinical trial data.
