Local SEO On-Page and Technical Specialist for Australian Market Offline

I am Ukrainian, living in Australia. We build and SEO websites in the Australian market, mainly in the local space. 

We have a small team in Ukraine, and I am looking to expand the team.

We are looking for an On-Page / Technical SEO expert with at least two years of experience managing Local SEO campaigns.

Here are a few examples of keywords and target locations our websites focus on:
"Home Builder + Melbourne"
"Tree Removal + Sydney"
"Electrician + suburb"
"Roof Repair + suburb"
etc...
 

Your responsibilities

• Conduct thorough technical SEO audits of websites to identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations for optimization
• Implement technical SEO best practices, including optimizing website structure and code, improving website speed and performance, and ensuring mobile-friendliness
• Collaborate with content teams to ensure that content is optimized for search engines and aligned with SEO strategies
• Monitor and analyze website traffic, rankings, and other metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and track progress over time
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in technical SEO and search engine algorithms
• Work closely with development teams to implement technical SEO changes and ensure that website updates don’t negatively impact SEO performance
• Create and maintain technical SEO documentation and guidelines for internal teams and stakeholders

• Provide technical SEO support and guidance to other members of the marketing team as needed

  
  Requirements

• Experience with site architecture and HTML markup
• Familiarity with technical SEO tools like Screaming Frog
• Ability to troubleshoot and debug SEO issues
• Proficiency in optimizing site speed and performance
• In-depth knowledge of schema markup
• Understanding of server and hosting configurations
• Expertise in URL structure and redirect management
• Understanding of search engine algorithms and updates
• Experience with international and multilingual SEO
• Knowledge of SEO for WordPress
