PHP/Node.js Backend Developer

We are seeking a talented PHP/Node.js Backend Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Backend Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining server-side logic, defining and maintaining databases, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of PHP or Node.js, along with experience in containerization, version control, and API integration.

Responsibilities:

✔️ Develop and maintain server-side logic using PHP or Node.js

✔️ Build and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code

✔️ Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic

✔️ Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability

Implement data security and protection measures

✔️ Design and implement data storage solutions

✔️ Collaborate with the team to define and implement APIs

✔️ Troubleshoot and debug issues

✔️ Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends

Must Haves:

✔️ Proficiency in PHP or Node.js

✔️ Experience with Docker and Docker-compose

✔️ Strong understanding of Git version control

✔️ Familiarity with tracking user actions using Google Analytics or similar services

✔️ Experience working with APIs

Nice to Have:

✔️ Experience creating diagrams for visual design of technical solutions

✔️ Knowledge of proxy servers and how they work

✔️ Familiarity with different Linux distributions

✔️ Understanding of designing isolated reproducible development environments

Qualifications:

✔️ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
