Data Engineer (offline)

As a casino gaming software company, NuxGame provides solutions to build outstanding brands and fulfill your business goals. We are looking for a Data Engineer to join our team.

 

Your position will include:

 

- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines;

- Implement and manage ETL processes for data integration;

- Develop and implement data models and schemas optimized for analytics;

- Ensure data quality and consistency for accurate analysis;

- Optimize database performance and query efficiency;

- Collaborate with the analytics team to understand data requirements;

- Work closely with DevOps to implement robust data infrastructure solutions;

- Monitor and troubleshoot system performance and data issues;

- Implement data security measures and access controls;

- Automate data processes to streamline analytics workflows;

- Enhance data governance practices and metadata management processes;

- Explore and implement new data engineering tools and techniques.

 

The expertise we’re looking for:

 

- At least 3 years of experience working as a Data Engineer;

- Proficiency in utilizing ETL tools for large-scale processing;

- Deep understanding of data modeling concepts for scalability;

- Expertise in SQL/NoSQL databases, including optimization techniques;

- Experience architecting and implementing data solutions on cloud platforms;

- Experience with modern data warehousing solutions (ClickHouse, BigQuery);

- Knowledge of data streaming technologies like Apache Kafka;

- Experience with workflow management tools like Apache Airflow;

- Extensive coding skills in Python, Java, or Scala for data processing;

- Proficiency in version control systems like Git for collaborative development;

- Proficiency in data manipulation and analysis using pandas or similar libraries;

- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes;

- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development;

- Exceptional problem-solving abilities for complex challenges;

- Proven track record of delivering complex data projects;

- Ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly.

 

Will be a plus:

 

- Experience with ClickHouse Cloud, ClickPipes, and integrations;

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field;

- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform;

- Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools for automation;

- Familiarity with web events data tracking tools and experience integrating them into data pipelines.
