Job Description:
We are looking for a creative and experienced Video Director/Editor to oversee our video production process and lead a team of editors. The Video Director/Editor will be responsible for conceptualizing, producing, and editing high-quality video content that effectively communicates our brand message and engages our target audience. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, proven experience in video production and editing, and the ability to inspire and mentor a team of editors to achieve excellence.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a team of + 5 editors, providing guidance, feedback, and support throughout the video production process.
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop video concepts, storyboards, and scripts that align with our brand objectives and marketing strategies.
Direct video shoots, including coordinating logistics, managing equipment, and directing talent and crew to ensure the successful execution of creative vision.
Edit and post-produce video content using industry-standard editing software, incorporating visual effects, sound design, and graphics as needed to enhance the final product.
Oversee the editing process from start to finish, ensuring quality, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines and project timelines.
Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in video production and editing, and share insights with the team.
Manage video assets and archives, organizing files and maintaining a centralized library for easy access and retrieval.
Collaborate with external vendors and agencies as needed to supplement in-house capabilities and resources.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Film Production, Digital Media, Communications, or a related field is a plus.
Proven experience as a Video Director/Editor, with a strong portfolio demonstrating creative and technical proficiency in video production and editing.
Proficiency in industry-standard video editing software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team of editors to achieve excellence.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Creative thinker with a keen eye for visual storytelling and attention to detail.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
Familiarity with motion graphics, animation, and visual effects is a plus.
Experience in the finance or professional services industry is preferred but not required.
