Mid-Level QA Engineer $1300-2500

We are seeking a highly skilled mid-level QA Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and stability of our software applications. You will collaborate closely with the development team and other stakeholders to identify and resolve any defects or issues. Responsibilities
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts
- Conduct both manual and automated testing to identify and log defects
- Collaborate with the development team to understand requirements and specifications
- Perform regression testing to ensure the stability of software releases
- Conduct root cause analysis of defects and work with the team to implement solutions
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains in the QA process
- Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and quality standards

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in testing web and mobile applications, encompassing both frontend and backend
- Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle and testing methodologies
- Demonstrated skill in developing and executing test plans and writing test cases clearly
- Familiarity with test management and bug-tracking systems
- Working knowledge of Jira and Confluence
- Solid knowledge of SQL
- Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality products
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cucumber, JavaScript, WebDriverIO), and experience with API testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Postman, REST-assured) a plus
- Experience with Amazon Web Services a plus
