Support Engineer (offline)

Beetroot is happy to announce that we are looking for a new addition to our team. We need an experienced Support Engineer to join us on behalf of a progressive client in Oslo, Norway.

It is an advanced digital assessment platform designed to revolutionize educational and professional assessments. It offers a comprehensive suite of tools and features for creating, administering, and evaluating assessments securely and efficiently in various settings, including educational institutions, certification programs, and recruitment processes.
Join us to reinvent educational assessment together. In our collaboration model, you will work and communicate directly with teams on the client side.

What you'll do in your role:
- Provide timely resolution to technical issues reported by users using ITIL best practices.
- Assist with software installations, upgrades, and license management.
- Maintain accurate documentation and knowledge base resources.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address complex issues.
- Offer training and guidance to users on technology usage and best practices.
- Continuously strive for process improvement and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor system performance/Security vulnerabilities and respond to alerts proactively.
- Manage tenant configurations, permissions, and support in multi-tenant environments.
- Process and fulfill access and configuration requests, ensuring accurate setup and adherence to established standards and guidelines.
- Facilitate data management tasks such as loading, removal, and updates.

What we’re looking for:
- 4+ years of experience as a Support Engineer.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, Lambdas, S3, RDS, SQS, CloudWatch).
- Proficiency in writing complex Oracle database queries.
- Strong scripting skills in Python or Bash.
- Basic knowledge of Java/J2EE applications.
- Experience with the ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) for log management and analysis
- Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
- Familiarity with ITIL best practices
- Ability to assist with software installations, upgrades, and license management.
- Documentation and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
