QA Engineer Offline

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

Open Commerce is a technology suite that enables marketing professionals in the fuel & convenience industry to create real-time, hyper-personalized offers and customer interactions across a variety of channels (mobile, web, SMS, and in-person) to drive customer behavior toward a desired goal.

Our technology bridges financial payment providers, retail fuel pump technology, and customer experience by wrapping low-level standards-compliant integrations with powerful software abstractions on an ultra-modern software platform. Our platform services and applications are built using a broad swath of technologies (Typescript, Node.js, Ruby, React, and others), interconnected via GraphQL and RabbitMQ, and run in AWS using Terraform, Helm and Kubernetes (via EKS)

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

As part of the Stuzo growing engineering team, we’re looking for someone with meticulous attention to detail and has a passion for solving problems. The QA Engineer will work very closely with the IT Management team, Development teams, Business SMEs and Stakeholders to promote and ensure quality for all projects.

Responsibilities + Activities:

- Develop and execute manual test scripts

- Document and proactively manage issues until resolution

- Collaborates with the team to ensure quality across the platform.

- Ensures proper execution of regression test procedures and automated test suites.

- Assists product support to ensure product meets customer expectations.

- Prepare and support internal documentation for the project.

Experience & Skills You’ll Need:

- Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills are essential.

- Self motivated, ability to work as collaborative member of a team

- Experience in web and mobile apps testing;

- Backend testing experience: API, Database (SQL), GraphQL;

- Test documentation creation: сheck lists, test cases, test-reports, etc;

- Experience with project and bug-tracking systems like Jira;

- Knowledge of QA tools: Chrome Developer Tools, Testrail, Postman, Charles/ Fiddler;

- Any automation experience is a plus.

- Experience with Scrum processes.
