Senior PHP Software Developer Offline

JOIDY is looking for a Senior PHP Software Developer to join our team!

Project: We’re opening the position of Senior Software Developer in BigCommerce (PHP). Our customer uses BigCommerce + several applications developed in-house (PHP, Python, JavaScript, etc.) Everything is synchronized to their accounting system which is buried behind two levels of firewall. All data flows through a middleware database, which tracks and manages the flows. The customer wants to update their template to improve site speed, update look and feel, improve the mobile experience, and ensure that everything they do helps them move the “Google meter” forward.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

— Develop and further support the website BigCommerce

— Address bug fixes and adjustments related to the synchronization with BigCommerce

— Customize BigCommerce features to align with unique business requirements, such as multi-currency transactions and product display modifications

— Oversee and optimize custom synchronization processes involving Google Merchant Center and Spire (accounting software)

— Conduct regular assessments to enhance site speed, update the look and feel, and improve the mobile experience

— Eliminate unnecessary customizations for streamlined performance

REQUIREMENTS:

— Solid knowledge and hands-on experience with BigCommerce

— 5+ years experience in web development, with proficiency in PHP

— Familiarity with accounting/ERP systems and their integration with BigCommerce platforms

— Ability to work on synchronization processes, endpoint-based APIs, and middleware databases

— English level – Upper-Intermediate and higher

Will be a plus:

— Experience working with Python, JavaScript
