Product Owner in Private Email TechOPS Team (offline)

TechOps Private Email and Spacemail teams — This team support and maintain the main email service in company Private Email. This service has over 500 000 actual mailboxes (almost 400 000 Users). And the next part of the team builds from scratch new email hosting called Spacemail. The main goal of this service is security. Nobody doesn’t have access to user data and users can send emails to each other and do not be afraid that these emails anybody can read. Spacemail building follows EE2E principles (all data and traffic inside the system are encrypted). Also, the team builds API for service, monitors all infrastructure, and writes new solutions for email.

Requirements
- 3+ years as Product Owner
- Proved experience in Web
- 3+ experience in agile using scrum methodologies
- 1+ year experience in project management
- Fluent verbal and written English is a must
- UML / BPMN or other business modeling experience
- Knowledge of requirements management process
- Understanding of web application development process
- Experience of creation and support technical documentation
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Proactive, goal and results orientated

Will be a plus
- Understanding and experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFE)
- Understanding and experience with HTML, CSS
- Experience with SQL
- Basic understanding of system integration (WebServices, SOA)
- yED, Visio, Draw.io
- Axure RP / Mockingbird or any other tool for creating layouts / wireframes, prototypes and specifications
- Documents administration system: Atlassian Confluence etc.
- Issue tracking systems: Atlassian JIRA etc.
- Project management systems: MS Project etc.
- Customer support representative experience

Responsibilities

As a dedicated Scrum Product team member, you will focus team effort on implementing product vision and delivering business value via code and systems.

Together with Product Manager and Stakeholders you will solve existing and new user problems and implement new business opportunities. This includes:

Iteration Execution (SCRUM)
- Backlog Refinement
- Iteration Planning
- Just-in-Time Story Elaboration
- Tactical decision making
- Epic / Story level business logic definition and elaboration
- Supporting Acceptance Test-Driven Development
- Accepting Stories. The PO is the only team member who can accept stories as done
- Understand Architecture Enabler Work
- Participate in Team Demo and Retrospective
- Defect management, triage, root cause definition, prioritization, acceptance
- Communicating status externally
- Planning and scheduling project timelines and milestones where appropriate
- Tracks project milestones and deliverables where appropriate

Preparation and Participation in Program Increment (PI) Planning (SAFE)
- As a member of the extended Product Management team, the Product Owner is heavily involved in
- Program Backlog refinement and preparation for PI Planning
- During the event, the Product Owner is involved with story definition, providing clarifications necessary to assist the team with their story estimates and story sequencing, and drafting the team’s specific objectives for the upcoming Program Increment (PI)

Program Execution (SAFE)
- During the course of each PI, the Product Owner coordinates content dependencies with other Product Owners
- The Product Owner also has an instrumental role in producing the System Demo for program and Value Stream stakeholders

Inspect and Adapt (SAFE)
- Teams address their larger impediments in the PI inspect and adapt workshop. There, the Product Owner works across teams to define and implement improvement stories that will increase the velocity and quality of the program
- The PI system demo occurs as part of the inspect and adapt workshop. The Product Owner has an instrumental role in producing the PI system demo for program stakeholders
- POs also participate in the preparation of the PI system demo to make sure that they will be able to show the most critical aspects of the solution to the stakeholders
