Job Description

Strong knowledge of Linux, Openstack/KVM virtualization, bash-scripting

Strong troubleshooting skills

Good understanding of reliability, failover, high availability aspects of the system

Good understanding of different testing types, approaches and techniques

Basic understanding of Ansible

Basic understanding of Java (read/navigate code); Python knowledge is a plus

Jenkins / Git / Gerrit experience is a plus

Knowledge in IP networking is a plus

Knowledge in Kubernetes/Docker is a plus

Understanding of Agile or iterative development lifecycles

Intermediate and above English (written and spoken) for daily communication with design teams and project managers.

Job Responsibilities

- Infrastructure-related testing of the developed software that includes performing installation, upgrade and backup-restore procedures on several different hardware configurations (standalone, highly-available, geo-redundant)

- Troubleshooting of found issues and creating bug reports

- Tracking of the registered bugs: fix verification, documentation changes

- Perform functional/non-functional software testing manually (feature/fix verification) and executing different automated regression tests

Launch services quicker with automated service instantiation and configuration. SDKs and APIs enable quick multi-vendor integrations. Custom workflow framework provided for building specific automation flows. The product can be easily integrated into existing service provider OSS.
