Required skills

 

β€” 4+ years of experience with server-side Java 8

β€” Practical experience with Message Broker (ideally Kafka)

β€” Practical experience - No SQL - (ideally Redis)

β€” Understanding of microservice architecture, design patterns, experience with making decisions about architecture, building a chain of services, understanding concepts of current solution on a candidates project

β€” Practical experience with SQL

β€” English level at least Upper Intermediate (good speaking)

β€” Good communication skills (ability to win over interlocutor)

β€” Leadership experience (at least 3 team members)

β€” Ability to negotiate

 

Nice to have:

 

Strong testing methodology (Integration tests and automation)

Practical experience with Code Review

Practical experience with Docker

Responsibilities

 

We are looking for a backend tech lead, with a strong backend engineering background to join the Engineering team and help us build the future of our B2B SaaS products suite, providing customers with real-time, AI-based data, scores and insights.

 

You will need to demonstrate:

β€” Experience in software design and architecture

β€” Strong understanding of distributed software concepts

β€” Ability to understand in the details the company’s main business and how is it being used by the customers

β€” Experience in implementing clean code and best practices

β€” Excellent communication skills, needed in mentoring of engineers

β€” Agility β€” requirements will always change and the code should be flexible enough for modification, but also simple as much as possible
