Senior PHP / JS Developer in Hosting Development Team

The new web-hosting service provisioning system consists of new product pages & shopping cart integration, new server provisioning & billing system integration, as well as deep integration and interaction with other Namecheap products.

Description

The product represents a full-stack web-hosting services provisioning system. Current tasks include support of legacy system components and 3rd party integrations, along with the implementation of new features within the current architecture. At the same time, almost all legacy system components are being replaced by a new-generation product platform into which a new microservice-based web-hosting service provisioning system will be integrated. The new web-hosting service provisioning system consists of new product pages & shopping cart integration, new server provisioning & billing system integration, as well as deep integration and interaction with other Namecheap products.

Requirements

Excellent knowledge of PHP 7+, JavaScript
Strong knowledge of MySQL/Postgre
Experience with one of the following PHP frameworks: Symfony, Laravel
Experience with one of JS frameworks: React, Vue (preferable)
Experience with AWS platform
Strong knowledge of Docker platform
Knowledge of software design patterns
Strong OOP skills based on SOLID principles
Ability to adjust to the change of established working processes and desire to improve them
Passionate for getting things done and result-oriented mindset
Experience working in an Agile / SCRUM environment

Will be a plus

Experience with Node.js and its frameworks (e.g. Express)
Strong knowledge of Nginx
Intermediate or higher level of English
API Platform

Responsibilities

As a dedicated Scrum Product team member, you will deliver business value via code and systems, building an AWS-hosted, Docker-based, microservice-oriented product
You will solve existing and new user problems and implement new business opportunities
This includes writing code, unit and functional tests, making code reviews, designing architecture, analyzing and estimating user stories
You will also have a chance to expand skills in backend (Node.js, PHP, MySQL, Symfony 4) as well as frontend (Vuejs)
