Junior Strong / Middle Big Data Engineer (offline)
Our client is a US company that specializes in delivering reliable Internet connectivity and entertainment multimedia to aircrafts worldwide, enhancing the experience for both passengers and crew. At this moment we cooperate on Business Intelligence, Data Analysis, and Big Data directions and look for talents who can contribute to the complex data management and analysis projects.
Responsibilities:
β’ Develop and support existing end-to-end data solutions for structured and unstructured data including, but not limited to, ingestion, parsing, integration, auditing, logging, aggregation, normalization, and error handling
β’ Create jobs and queries to perform auditing and error handling
Qualifications:
β’ Experience with SQL
β’ Experience with Python or Scala
β’ Knowledge of Hadoop architecture
β’ Experience with Linux
β’ Result-oriented attitude, ability to get things done in a highly dynamic and stressful environment
β’ Good communication skills and good English
β’ A good team player
Nice to have:
β’ Experience working with AWS (S3, EMR cluster, Lambda, Kinesis)
β’ 1+ years of experience with Apache Spark, including an understanding of optimization techniques
